About us
We are VJ and The Street Jammers.
Our love for performances is only overshadowed by our passion for music. The genesis of our name is proof of this philosophy. Before we landed our first performance stage in Chandigarh, we would often get together as a collective and played our music in public spaces just to entertain people who had a love for music. It was the adulation that we received doing this which lead to VJ making this collective official and christening us - The Streetjammers
Introducing the band - VJ on Vocals and Rhythm, Anup on Lead Guitar, Gunjan on Bass, Gurpreet on the Keys, Tejinder on Percussions and Satish on the Drums, this 6 member powerhouse of performance were formed in 2010 have been breathing life into many performances both public and private since.
Our repertoire consists of various genres with a focus on Bollywood, Punjabi (Pop and Folk) and Sufi.
We are all set to introduce a few of our original compositions to our fans and audiences so keep watching this space for further updates on our music and our performances.
