Recommendations for a reputable HVAC company/person in/near St Paul MN? I’ve had a bad experience with St Paul Heating & Air of misdiagnosing me in the past by upwards of a thousand dollars when the repair was a 30 dollar part and 20 minute install and NOT what they diagnosed. So I have a bad taste in my mouth.
My furnace is making an intermittent unusual noise. It’s definitely a motor, but not the blower fan.
Since it’s below zero I’d like it looked at soon, even though I still have heat.
I do have an electric radiator set up by the water main to turn on of it gets below 66F just in case, but I think I need an inspection ASAP to repair whatever is wrong. I have zero knowledge or skills on this matter, but also don’t want to get scammed into paying more than what the problem is.
Can anyone recommend a good HVAC/furnace installation company for a house in the west suburbs? I need to help my father replace a furnace at his house in the west suburbs and would like a recommendation on any reputable companies to use for installation and purchasing of a furnace.

I have a contract with [Standard Heating and Air Conditioning](https://www.standardheating.com/) for maintenance of the 2 ACs and 2 furnaces in my duplex, and the previous owner apparently went through them for unit installation. My interactions with them so far have been very positive, and their pricing seems reasonable.
Hello
Time to get the furnace replaced, AC installed, and some residing done. Can anyone recommend some good contractors to get estimates from?

We used Standard Heating and Air - they're local and marvelous. When the city inspector came, he said, "When it's a Standard install, I know I'm not going to find any problems." http://www.standardheating.com/
