  What type of material? If it's a sewn product then Stitch Texas is your best bet for development (disclosure, I share workspace and do some consulting with them). Www.stitchtexas.com If it's something like a metal plate wallet or phone case wallet I don't know where one would go but I'm interested to find out.

  For clarification of terms - if you're starting the product line, your company is the manufacturer. Your CMT contractor is the factory. What you're looking for is product development and pre production technical design. Stitch Texas (www.stitchtexas.com) is the best resource in town for that end (disclosure: I handle denim development for Stitch Texas on a contract basis). There are no good options for formal wear in town as far as sewing contractors go.
