We fund anti-malaria nets, specifically long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs), and work with distribution partners to ensure they are used. We track and report on net use and malaria case data.
Hey does anyone know if the nets come from local suppliers? Flooding these areas with nets can sometimes create a counter-effect economically for local providers who lose their livelihoods...

Hi Oliver! The (very) short answer is that the Against Malaria Foundation keeps a close eye on local-sourcing options and, where it is 'near-economic' to use them, they do so. More info about what they do and the reasoning behind their choices can be found here : https://www.againstmalaria.com/NewsItem.aspx?newsitem=Where-do-we-buy-our-nets-from Hope this helps!
