I've ventured from the world of Hobbyist into Part Timer and then some!! Excited this has grown so much in the last couple years from a few events a year to now DJing a couple dozen times a year. While that doesn't sound too impressive, 20-25 events is nearly every weekend from April through Halloween and is pretty steady business. I charge very low rates and do this because I really enjoy this business. With the addition of DJ Ryan, we are covering upwards of 40 events a year together or solo.
I have been DJing since 2008. For weddings, I offer some event planning and a detailed itinerary to help keep the night going smoothly. Included are announcements, sound for speeches, party lights, and custom playlists for dinner and reception. I also can provide ceremony music and sound. I also do many parties and charge modest rates.
