We have a guy who does it for us every other week and he does a great job, but he just doesnt cut it short enough. My brother has been trying to help us save some money by coming over and doing it, but he has a busy life, too, and just can do it a lot.   Just wondering your thoughts....I had a plumber come out today to give me an estimate on replacing my kitchen sink. I explained that I would purchase the items needed and that I just needed it to be installed correctly. He quoted $450 because it would take a 1/2 day to replace. Huh??? That seems like a ridiculous fee and I dunno but I you tubed a couple of folks doing it and it didn't seem like a 1/2 days work. Am I crazy or is this the going rate? Seems like he thought I had sucker on my forehead.
