About us
Rooibos Restaurant all started with a little dream that Tyron Calder & Nicole Fischer had.
They decided to pack their bags, resign from their jobs in Bloemfontein and move down to Strand in the Western Cape... To open up their own business, Rooibos.
Tyron comes from the corparate world, he studied Sales & Marketing. Then worked for a food distrabution company before setting off to join South African Breweries, where he has been for the last 5 years.
Nicole has 10 years experience in the Hospitality industry, she recieved her degree in Hospitality Management, worked in America for a year and has run a few restaurants since then.
Tyron is running the front of house, and Nicole the kitchen.
And together they are quiet a mean team ;)
Their vision is to have a place where everyone is welcome, serve quality food, at affordable prices and give awesome service.
