  Medical exemptions are valid so long as the condition requiring the use of sunscreen devices persists, until the prescription expires, or until the vehicle is sold, whichever first occurs. (TAC Rule 21.3)- Typically the application is processed within 15 days provided you have proper medical documentation from your doctor. Hope this answers your question. www.eplawoffice.com
