  Hi all, I am a member and also an Arlington attorney who handles personal injury cases. I have done too many cases involving bicyclists. As a result, I have decided to start doing "Safety Talks" providing safety tips to bicyclists and pedestrians. Does anyone have connections with any community groups where we could work together to present such talks? Just a thought. Thanks

  On a related note, the Arlington Bicycle Advisory Committee has been engaging with the ACPD on cyclist and pedestrian safety, led by Cory Bilton, another attorney in this area. We're making headway and hope to engage the police to start more cyclist-specific training. Our next meeting is October 5 and ACPD should be there (they come quarterly), or you can engage online, through the Google group or the bikearlingtonforum.com
