  Hello! Im still searching for 3-4 days per week daycare for my 18 month old. I toured the Children’s Academy and liked it, however they only offer full time 5 days and I need 3-4 days. I’m in the process of getting on wait lists for Ethel Mason, Rocky Run Y, and Crew Kids. Elwyn and Garrett’s Way both have wait lists so long I don’t know if it’s worth trying. I have an appointment to tour Today’s Child Media location on Monday but after making it I read some not so great things on this page from a couple years back and now I’m weary. Anywhere I’m missing? I live in Upper Providence and am looking for something local/media area. Maybe I have to expand my search but I was hoping not to because I already have a long commute to work in Kennett Square. Thanks for any suggestions! Apparently I should have put him on some waitlists before he was born!

  Although we are Catholic we sent our two daughters to K’tonton in Broomall They went 3 days a week and we loved every minute of it. Two big things on my list were a prepared fire exit plan and cleanliness. PM me if you have any questions http://felskids.org/center/ktonton/

  HI Neighbors! Does anyone have any recommendations for a daycare in the area that has an opening for a two year old before June? I am looking for a place (am open to in home daycares, too) that has experience working with kids that are receiving early intervention services and have experience accommodating and working with children who have alternative needs (not necessarily special needs) and where class sizes are relatively small, if possible. AJ, Kol Ami and KI are all full until June. And I'm willing to travel a little farther away for the right fit. Thanks!

  Did you look at FELSkids.org. They oversee 2 centers in the Elkins Park area. Both work very well with children identified with special needs. They have an Early Childhood Specialist on staff who works with the teachers and the parents. Call them: Kol Ami Early Learning Center 8201 High School Road Elkins Park, PA 19027 (215) 635-4180 Hours: M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. OR Gutman Early Learning Center 7500 West Ave Melrose Park, PA 19027 (215) 635-5570 Hours: M-F 6:30 am - 6:00 pm
