  For the folks who are not keen to party hard, We are asking around and trying to find a chill place where you can hang out. There is a board game cafe in Daejeon, but it's rather far from the rest of the party. We are asking around for places near to the party, so it might be possible to pop in and have a little of both experiences. In Dunsan, near Traveler's/the party: a bunch of restaurants and coffee shops, batting cages, noraebangs, a couple of fancy dessert cafes. In Gung-dong (near Santa Claus and the old Shisha House, if you know Daejeon): a board game cafe called Maeul. It is directly across from the Baskin Robbins on Rodeo Street. Bright yellow sign. In the basement. I hope this helps! I'll update if we get any more information coming through!

  We found a spot! Relatively close to the big party: It is about 10 minutes walking between Traveler's and this Board Game Cafe. On the subway line too! (none of us have been there, but Naver says it exists!) http://www.chesscafe.co.kr/ Red is the baord game cafe: 1417 Dunsan-dong, 2 nd floor Traveler's is directly West along Dunsan-ro, just past where the big yellow road crosses.
