About us

The centre was first opened in the 1980’s by HRH Sarah Duchess of York. The centre was built to replace the old, ailing village hall. The centre is equipped with everything you could want for your event, wedding, party or show. We have 2 rooms, of different sizes, so you can pick and choose how much of the centre you need. There is the Small Hall that seats approx 60 People and the Main Hall that seats approx 150 People.
We also have the following,

Onsite Bar
Disabled access and toilet
Large Kitchen
Use of tables, crockery and cutlery

Can anyone recommend a good wedding reception venue thats maybe a little bit different and/or a blank canvas and preferably not too expensive, either in town or Cumbria area. Feel I've exhausted all the Google searches and they all say the same places. Hoping by opening it up to FB, that someone must have a different suggestion thats maybe not so well known? I hope!

I had the rockcliffe centre at the start of the month for my wedding, looks great when it's been decorated. The staff are amazing and very helpful and bar prices are cheap too, if you want to see some pics of the hall pm me x
