About us
Bouj (circa 2001) is your exclusive showroom for dozens of selected lines of fabric, rugs, blinds and accessories.
We offer full spectru, design services as well as custom slipcovers, draperies, bedding headboards and ottomans (all made in house).
We invite you to explore these invaluable resources in our new studio and imagine the possibilities for your home.
I am Eryn Treanor ... I have sewn since I was 6, the daughter of a commercial designer, I studied fashion design at Ryerson University and also had a brief stint as a food prop stylist. I am obsessed with all things designy and I totally LOVE my job.
Bouj was born in Parkdale, Queen West Toronto. Queen West FYI was named 2nd coolest neighbourhood in the world(!) by Vogue September 2014.... we like to think that we had something to do with that ;) We had a rather whirlwind start to our business.
We fabricated sewn goods regularly for HGTV shows:
- Design Inc with Sarah Richardson
- Home to Stay with Peter Fallico
- Home to Go with Peter Fallico
We worked regulary with The Design Agency "Designer Guys" Matt, Allen, & Anwar.
Lobby Restaurant, Paaeez, the Liberty Village sales office & State Theatre were projects we completed.
We also did much of the restaurant work with Liberty Entertainment.
TIFF special events, C Lounge, Crystal Room, The Rosewater Supper Club, The Rosewater Room and The Liberty Grand were venues we did lots and lots of work at.
Design consulting and furniture re-upholstery galore second round of renos in 2006 at the beautiful Drake Hotel on Queen West.
The honourable Adrienne Clarkson, several projects with the incredible architect Jack
Diamond, oversees projects in Bermuda and Mustique. One of our projects actually landed on the front cover of Coastal Living!!!

In 2007, we decided to move north to the wonderful town of the Blue Mountains.
The restaurant & TV scene was fun while it lasted but we... show more wanted to focus more on residential and situate ourselves in a beautiful landscape. So here we are and we haven't looked back since.
We like to keep things simple. Communication & happy consults are the key to this business. You need to be happy with the entire process. It's your home!
