  Looking for KC's favorite neighborhood restaurants (non-chains)... The other night while eating at Chelly's in Waldo (one of our favorite low-profile neighborhood restaurants), I started wondering about similar types of spots throughout town. Places that have been around a while, ingrained into the neighborhood, good food, family owned, not chains.... A few that come to mind include Fric & Frac (Volker), Caddy Shack (River Market), Charlie Hooper's (Brookside). What are some of your favorites? Interested in hearing about places all over town.

  Are you kidding? Dos de Oros couldnt seat 50 of them. Unless they have access to a banquet hall. But their kitchen couldn't come close to handling that.
