You really need a new jamb, but I can fix that for $100, you buy the parts I need. Call me if you are interested in having me do this for you. Honestly, to replace the broken jamb the correct way is around $500, but this is what I do, day in and day out for 40 years now, and I can piece in a new section of jamb, good enough to last and lock up your home.
