Handicare's program is focused on providing quality care and education that meets individual and family needs. Interagency service coordination and a team approach are used to plan and implement activities that promote each child's development.
Handicare partners with United Way, Grant Wood Area Education Agency, Iowa City Community School District, the Department of Human Services, ChildServe, UIHC Center for Disabilities and Development, and other local service agencies to provide support and resources needed for a child to be successful.
