About us

With 3 sunny private rooms, this picturesque, house in the country mountains feels like home. It's the perfect place to unplug, find balance and reconnect with yourself, nature and new friends.

Situated in Urubamba, a beautiful little town criss crossed with incredible Inka trail ruins, it is central in the Sacred Valley, right on the path between Cusco and Machu Picchu, you can find incredible weather, beautiful views and luscious nature.

THE SPACE
This comfortable home is a bit more cozy and modern than most hostels at this price. We have rustic, Peruvian style with bright pops of color, warm hardwood floors, rich local textiles and thoughtful details like plenty of electrical outlets, coat hangers in each room and lots of storage for long term guests.

We offer a big shared kitchen, fully-equipped with all of the kitchen gadgets you need and we offer shared food for a small donation. We have spices, oils, grains, vegetables, coconut oil and other yummy treats stocked at all times. (lunch: 10 PEN, $3.60) / Dinner: 15 PEN/ $5.40)

This little guest home offers incredible Andean fresh air, yummy & healthy food, pristine drinking water and some of the friendliest people you'll meet on your travels. Hike up though the beautiful trails of the Sacred Valley directly from our front door through eucalyptus forests, to ancient salt pans of Salineras or explore the hidden ruins and rock paintings in the valley.

This home is perfect for long-term travelers as we offer rooms for long term, monthly stay with at fantastic prices that you couldn’t find at a hostel. We are a grounded place for wanderers that might be down here doing some soul searching or working on a passion project.

It's also a fantastic place to acclimate to high altitude because we are 2000 feet lower than Cusco, tour the Sacred Valley ruins, or check out the amazing craft markets of Pisac & Chinchero

ABOUT US
My husband and I are running a small, family business and we think of every person staying here like one of our family. We can help arrange transport, find local activities to fill your days, lead you up a hiking trail, or give advice on your travels through Peru. Whether it's recommending great local restaurants, having thoughtful conversation or lending you a water bottle for your hike, we want to make sure you feel like you're at home.

We left the corporate grind (rock & roll stage building and Fortune 500 marketing and design) to have a quiet balanced life in harmony with nature. We found our passion in making this space peaceful, functional, and beautiful for ourselves and our friends and creating a community that can really connect on things that matter. We take the tranquilo lifestyle very seriously.

GETTING AROUND
Taxis, local buses and, shared ride combos are available to travel easily though the Sacred Valley. We are happy to book you a ride with one of the local drivers we work with.

EXTRAS
We are close to quite possibly the best little fresh air market in the valley- as the first stop from the high jungle where there is a long growing season, we get first pick of the fruits and veggies.

There are lots of great spiritual outlets nearby including traditional Lakota sweat lodges, sacred fire ceremonies, yoga workouts, massage therapy, acupuncture, guided meditation, & family constellation work.
