  Hi Ladies. I believe I've seen previous discussions on this in the past, but none are coming up in my search! I have an old small dog who will require boarding for two nights. I'd prefer her to stay in a home with someone to love her and take care of her personally, as opposed to staying in a kennel. Have I seen such a service offered here? Does anyone have any personal recommendations? Our regular doggie sitter has acquired a new canine member of her family, so she's not able to take our dog at this time.   I am leaving to go on a cruise February 1st. I am now in a bind as the people we were counting on to watch our 2 dogs can no longer take them. My little one a Bichon Frisee does not do well in a kennel. Last time we put him there he barely ate and was physically ill. He's very much a lap dog and needs to be around people. My other dog is 12 y.o. and she is a mixed hound, beagle/whippet. She has some anxiety (like any noise like wind, thunder, rain scares her) so she also needs people company to reassure her during those times. Basically I am looking for someone who could take them for approximately 14 days. They can stay alone at my home during the day but in the evening they would need supervision. I live in Fairwinds so hoping to find someone in either Kanata or Stittsville. If you know of anyone who does pet sitting please let me know. Thank You.
