  I got mine local here in Copa but she isn't breeding anymore. There are Doodle rescue sites as well as other breeders in Arizona. Going through a breeder will cost quite a bit. The cost is high because the breeders do extensive genetic and medical testing on the parents which is not cheap. It's kind of a "you get what you pay for" There are some breeders who charge to much without the testing so it is very important to do you research on any breeder and ask for documentation. The rescue sites, however do not cost as much as getting a puppy from a breeder. Check out doodlerescue.org.

  I found this rescue, it's not in Colorado but I imagine if they were going to buy one from a breeder or pet store they would be spending about $2000 at least so maybe transporting one from out of state is feasible for them? http://doodlerescue.org/

  I have some friends who want a Golden Doodle. We talked about rescue, etc., but they really want this kind of dog. A puppy. Does anyone know of any rescues...or a reputable breeder...I told them if they get one from a pet store it will be a puppy mill dog. Any help...suggestions...welcome. They have a baby and a 2 year old. So a puppy is their choice to grow up with the kids.
