  Furniture Delivery? I'm interested in heading down to ReStore but I don't drive. I was looking around for vehicles you can hire to deliver furniture from the store to your home but I'm mostly finding randos on Kijiji offering use of their truck. Not that it's an inherently bad thing, but it makes me nervous after hearing horror stories about folks taking purchases 'hostage' until you pay them more money. Are there any licensed business that provides this service outside of the big commercial movers (which typically aren't an on-demand service)? Has anyone used one and if so, do you have any recommendations?

  I just recently purchased a couch from the find store and had it delivered. They have a delivery company they use that charges $75. Maybe if you call the find store (780-988-1717) you might be able to set something up with the delivery company.

  Thrift shops? My somewhat eccentric friend turned his garage into a "lounge" for entertaining friends and painted it completely blue with plans of decorating it with all blue items. I've kept my eyes open for him whenever I go to Value Village or whatever and found a couple of things but real treasures seem to be few and far between. Does anyone know of any cool/unique/creepy thrift stores in the Edmonton area that has furniture/decor items that might fit the bill for this? We are not looking for expensive antique shops - nothing fancy. Most of what he's found so far was "free" in the alley behind his house if that's any indicator of what we're looking for.   value village hasn't been selling most furniture for a while because of bug issues. but FIND (http://www.findedmonton.com/) and salvage yeg (http://www.salvageyeg.com/) both sell extremely well kept furniture/decor of all sorts and they both put any profits into helping people escape homelessness! they both post hella pictures on their instagrams so you can see what they have in stock
