Can anyone recommend a good dentist for someone with extreme dental problems? I was born to an anorexic mom (who was told she was sterile, so no need to bash her) and as a result my teeth never formed enamel. I had no insurance throughout my 20s and although I floss, brush and rinse daily I have some pretty terrible problems; I am hoping for a dentist who is kind and understanding, as I've actually had dentists talk smack about my teeth when working on them. It's something I battle daily, they hurt and are unsightly.

Dr. Jim Root, 3701 Guadalupe St, (512) 454-5153 I absolutely love him and his staff. They are good, good people, and I don't say that lightly. I usually don't like the dental profession. I also had a great experience at the UT dental college in San Antonio a couple of years ago, if you don't mind the travel.
