I am extremely saddened by the way I was treated by this salon’s manager Sherrie Guzzi and hair dresser Dori Williams in Sumter South Carolina.
On 15 Nov 2016, I received a hair color/cut appointment from DayeLynn Hair
Gallery. They have a solid reputation in the local area, and after getting a recommendation to try them, I was excited for my appointment. However, the service provided was not consistent with their own commitment to quality. I am profoundly disappointed in the service I received from DayeLynn Hair Gallery.
At the conclusion of my appointment, I verbally expressed my concern and
disappointment in the service provided by Dori Williams, the hairdresser.
Ms. Williams insisted that it "looked fine," although I could clearly see
that the highlights performed appeared to be thick, bold blonde stripes,
originating about an inch from my center part-giving the appearance of two
months' growth-in my dark brown hair, versus the style she and I had
discussed. Despite my insistence that additional color needed to be added
to correct this, she would not assist me.
Proper restitution must be provided for the unacceptable service I received.
After multiple phone calls with Ms. Williams, as well as Ms. Sherrie Guzzi,
the manager of DayeLynn Hair Gallery, a refund of half the amount paid ($54
of $108) was provided. While the financial compensation is appreciated,
larger concerns still remain. One is the threatening tone used by Ms.
Williams; she stated she would "make this ugly if she needs too" when she
learned I spoke with the manager. Additionally, my hair still needs recolored to
correct the damage done by Ms. Williams. I have an extreme loss of
confidence in DayeLynn Hair Gallery and their hairdresser Ms. Dori Williams
and I am not comfortable having someone at DayeLynne Hair Gallery work on my hair. I would like a full refund of the remaining money I paid ($54.00) and
claim actual financial loss which would be the cost of getting my hair fixed
by another salon.
I'm looking for a new hair salon to go to! Any suggestions?

dayeLynn all the way! You can download StyleSeat to your phone and book at your convenience, and the prices are right there too. I highly recommend KaCy Marro there, but honestly, they are all amazing! Check out their page: https://www.facebook.com/dayeLynnHairGallery/?fref=ts
