  Hi Erie Family- I'm looking for a service dog for my dad who is a veteran. He has PTSD and is also a recent amputee. Is there anyone who has experience with a therapy dog organization who helps veterans obtain a service dog that helps both PTSD and disability? I've looked on line for something in Colorado but there does not seem to be one that provides both or some are like a pet adoption rescue. Would love feedback from anyone with experience with this, or recommendations. I'd be willing even if outside CO if I can get him the right fit for his needs. Thank you!

Also, check out the Assistance Dogs International Website: http://www.assistancedogsinternational.org/location/colorado/ . It lists 39 programs that provide dogs to Colorado. It shows the work that the dogs are trained to perform and has additional website links to contact each organization directly.
