  Hi. If you're near Porty beach why not try Reds on Portobello High Street. There's a small softplay - perfect for under 5 s and also great coffee from Brodies, Eteaket teas and a fab menu that's all made on the premises - the wee ones menu is a cut down version of the adults - smaller portions all served and presented the same! Wondering what is recommended to do (apart from the zoo and aquarium) is there any good play parks in particular we should try or family friendly eateries?   Arthur's seat is great with a play park near Holyrood, and lots of ducks at Duddingston loch and Dunsapie loch (the one half way up). Or a walk and play on portobello prom, then a meal at Reds on Portobello High street -an extremely family friendly restaurant with a small soft play frame ideal for wee ones under 5.
