Crows Nest is definitely the place if you want to have rest from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The streets are lined with trees, and the buildings in the neighbourhood are a marvel. Much of the architecture can be dated back to the 1920s, letting you enjoy a different side to the city in a more relaxed way. There’s plenty of public transport options in case you’ve decided to indulge in a few drinks at a pub in Crows Nest.
Crows Nest got its name because of its elevated position, and the original Crows Nest House is still where it used to be! However, it still remains a relatively small population of around 4,000 people. It really is the perfect place to live, or even to bring your family for a visit, as so many of the locations such as cafes and restaurants in Crows Nest are family-friendly, and can accommodate almost everyone. Not only that, but Crows Nest also has a significant commercial district, and has a plethora of shops. So feel free to come by and enjoy a little bit of retail therapy on the weekend, or have a bit of fun at night, with a range of bars including Coco Cubano!
