  I came across 4 kittens. They are under a week old; eyes still shut and ears folded down. They're with their mother and aunt and are currently nursing from mommy. The mother and aunt are clean kittens themselves. What are the next steps in caring for these strays? I've provided iced water, food, and a box with towels. As much as I'd like to take them in, I simply have no space whatsoever to do so. I do not want to remove the kittens from their mom as she's taking good care of them. Does anyone have a vet hookup that can provide free vaccinations and spay/neutering? Perhaps when they wean they can find homes so they are off the streets. I understand they will need proper socializing and human introduction before 12 weeks or they'll be deemed feral.
