  Cassandra Airenne, I would suggest calling healthline NZ, 0800 611 116 — I have saved myself several trips to the doctor using their service. They just ask for your details (resident or not), and they give you free health advice based on the symptoms you describe to them. If it's a sore throat (which I've called for in the past), they will ask for very detailed descriptions of your symptoms, and then tell you whether they think you require further examination from a Doctor. The nurses are really friendly and helpful :)

  ACC has a list of Psychologists that you can call and ask for, also you could give 0800611116 (Health line) a call and ask them to point you in the right direction, there is also CAB or even local GPs maybe able to help :)
