About us

Drumheadz is a world class independent learning centre of contemporary music education ,development and training for drum set players of all skills and ages, located in Johannesburg, South Africa.

We offer programs of study that range from part time weekly or bi-weekly private lessons to a one year comprehensive full time study program. Small group lessons and private lessons are taught by Andy Maritz, one of South Africa's most respected players with years of recording and performance experience, nationally and internationally.

As a result of gaining years of experience in different musical settings as well as obtaining valuable information and knowledge from some of the best teachers in the world, we have formulated programs that are focused on developing our students performance skills to a real world standard.
