Casual neighborhood Italian cafe and wine bar. Specializing in small plates with big flavors - cichetti (Italian tapas). Homemade pasta. Focaccia. Great wine selection.
Is there a quiet romantic restaurant in Houston? I'm serious. All the restaurants here are so loud. The only quiet one we've found in 15 years is Da Marco and we want somewhere new. A tad more affordable would be good too.

Where can I get the best most authentic Italian food in Houston? Specifically spaghetti bolognese.

I find "authenticity" overrated as a measure of restaurant cooking. Go for deliciousness instead and head to https://www.facebook.com/111554375525593 giacomo's cibo e vino.
Italian food recommendation? A good Italian food place to go on a date. What do yall suggest?

Lots of good and expensive choices listed here. All are fantastic, but maybe you don't want to shell out Da Marco dollars... [Giacomo's](http://giacomosciboevino.com) on Westheimer past Kirby is cute and fun, and makes the pasta fresh fresh fresh. [Spaghetti Western](http://spagwesthouston.com) on Shepard/I10 is a very casual affair that's basically an Italian Chuy's (which is how it got its start). Nice people, fun food, super laid back.
