  Hey Veggie Seattle!!! Every spring in NY for about 5 years we had a Veggie Prom - prom for vegans, vegetarians, and Veg-friendly folks. The event was a fundraiser for a selected animal rights organization or sanctuary & there was a vegan DJ, prom-related movies streaming on the wall in the background, food donated by local vendors (as well as Smarties, Dandies, etc...) and a photographer to take silly "photo booth" images with a cool background & props. I'd love to get this started up here if we don't already have one & wanted to see if anyone would be interested in helping organize such an event? Comment if you'd like to get together for a coffee Meetup to discuss, or if you have any suggestions for space rentals/donations/organizations or charities to consider, etc... thanks a million!
