  What material was used to build the kayak? ABS plastic? Fiberglass? Wood? Carbon fiber? ABS _can_ be self-repaired, as can fiberglass, but fiberglass will be an easier and more sturdy patch. If you are looking for a pro job either way, the first place I'd call is Annapolis Canoe and Kayak, over on Severn Ave. If they cannot perform the repair, they will know someone who is able to do so. http://www.annapoliscanoeandkayak.com
