About us
We're central Iowa based husband and wife team Sam and Kaylie. We specialize in high quality, visually stunning candid imagery documenting your story.
Our story: We met in 2005 in Edinburgh, Scotland when Sam was studying for a degree in photography and Kaylie was an Iowa State University student studying abroad. Three continents and seven years later, we planned a short stay in Des Moines for our own idyllic Iowa wedding.
Four years on and it turns out Des Moines is a hidden gem; we stuck around and got jobs in media, PR and events organizing. After photographing presidents, senators, governors, celebrities, sportspeople, events, families and weddings we decided to really focus on the latter.
One thing we realized after organizing our own wedding was how incredible it was to have every one of our favorite people in the same setting on the same day witness our love for each other.
Being asked to document that incredible milestone for other couples is such an honor for us. Every couple’s story is different and unique – including yours. Let us capture and illustrate that story in a way that reflects your love.
