  I'm in quite a bit of pain. I have an infection in my bone above an old root canal in a back molar. I went to alta med dental Monday and they gave me antibiotics and ibuprofen. They do not do extractions or root canals there. I'm terrified of dentist and am on medi cal. Can anyone recommend a good dentist in the area that takes medi cal? Also, has anyone ever dealt with an infection above a root canal? An abcess has not shown up yet. Did you treat the root canal or get the tooth pulled? Medi cal will only pay to remove teeth. I'm scared to start pulling teeth at 32. Also, the reviews for the medi cal dentist aren't great.
