Hi my name is John Evans and thank you for coming to my FB Page.
I am a fully qualified UK Electrician with 15 years experience, my wife and I moved to Bulgaria back in 2011 and have been enjoying the life here ever since.
Upon arriving here and starting to work here I was appalled as to the state of the wiring I was coming across, this is to be expected in the old houses, but the new installations that were being done were diabolical, most were being done by Ex-pats who were claiming to know what they were doing, when in fact they did not have a clue, the clients were being ripped off and there lives being put in Danger by these morons.
In the time I have been here I have been called out many times only to find that these so called new installations were of No standard at all.
It really does annoy me, if you want to do your own home that's up to you, but charging people when you have not got a clue or the qualifications is criminal and life threatening.
I am fighting this cause over here and do have some very good contacts within the Bulgarian Government now, and as I am told it is going to take time, but they have started to enforce the rules that apply.

Anyone who is trading as an Electrician over here has to apply to the Bulgarian Government. There is a process and it can take up to 12 months. I have done this!
All my work is covered by a 2 year labor warranty, my phone is on 24/7 and my emails are checked almost every day. I am always available for advice!
