  Hello HBCV - Been trying to get a hold of the City Planning department for a few days now ( I know they're busy), but keep getting voice mail. I just have a VERY simple question that I need answered. We are installing a 2-Post Car-lift in our small auto shop here in HB. It DID have a lift in there a few weeks ago, and was used as a auto shop for 10+ years. We keep getting he questions from the Lift MFR's asking - Does your lift need to be ALI/ETL certified or not (gold label I guess), or can you use a basic lift. Would anyone on here know the answer to my question? Thank you for ANY help that you can offer! We NEED to get this done ASAP as our mechanic needs to move his stuff in and this lift is the only thing stopping us.
