  We've been using Peter Graham, CPA/CFP for over 25 years. He's located on Tindall Road in Middletown (off Route 35, across from the Dunkin Donuts, near Kohl's & Outback). 732-671-8855 He will email you a tax preparation form to help you organize your expenses and such. He's also a Certified Financial Planner, and can help with investments. As a previous poster mentioned, accountants charge by the hour. If they have to "wade through a mess of receipts," you may wind up paying several hundred dollars. A friend of mine who owned a business, and handed her accountant a box of receipts, paid $450 to prepare her quarterly income tax.
