chengjih replied:I've only used one body shop, a few months ago, when we had a fender bender on our Toyota. We are insured through Geico, and they partnered with [Autotech Collisions](http://www.autotechny.com/) on 57 th Street just west of 10 th Avenue, to have their adjuster sitting in the office to handle all the financial stuff. In terms of fixing the fender bender, everything looks good, and I guess it was well handled in terms of telling me what had to happen, etc. But I don't have any experience with other body shops, so I can't say how typical this was.
