Donating to food banks. So i went to my local grocery store today (Kroger, outside of Atlanta GA). I needed to pick up a prescription, or I would not have gone. I was asking if they have a program that you can pay at the register and donate to a food bank. They do not, but suggested going personally. I am unable to do that my wife has MS and is on Immune suppressants. Does anyone know of a grocery store that does have a program like that they can directly link to local food banks ? I am pretty skeptical to give to a church.. I want to specifically be able to provide food for a food bank. Any suggestions that limit personal interaction ?

Here is one in Atlanta that you can donate directly on their [website](https://www.acfb.org/). It doesn't seem like it's a church. You can also go to this [site](http://feedingamerica.org/) to find other local ones. I donate that way to my local one. But my local stores do the donate at the register a few times a year too.
