Get to know us questions and answers
Where are you from and how did you get into this business?
I am from Jacksonville, Fl. This profession fell into my lap. I had my oldest child (he is now 3), and decided I wanted to photograph him monthly. I would document his milestones, and I had them bound into a photo book. I went out and bought my very first DSLR. I didn't expect to fall in love with photography, but I can't imagine doing anything else! It's my job. My getaway. My therapy. My relaxation. I love everything about photography and photoshop.
Describe a typical work day for you?
I work throughout the day. My #1 job is being a stay-at-home mom to my two beautiful babies. When they let me, I edit, I e-mail, I provide the best customer service possible. Usually, my editing hours are from 7pm-11pm a few evenings a week. I work when they sleep :)

From where do you draw your enthusiasm and inspiration for the job?
When you love what you do, it is easy to draw enthusiasm and inspiration. I have two little people who are constant inspiration for new photo shoot ideas. They keep me on my toes with poses. They keep me in practice with working with children (especially when they are grumpy and don't want to listen). They have taught me so much about life, compassion, patience, and everything good.
How can a customer ensure that they receive the best possible service from you?
Frankly, I have, unfortunately, experienced awful customer service from different businesses. I will NEVER allow my business to get so big that I treat clients like a number. That is how I ensure customer service. I stay true to where I came from, and I keep my word.
What has been your most memorable experience on the job?
My most memorable, and favorite, experience has been the clients that have turned into friends. I have made so many friends, and I will be forever grateful for that.
