Looking for hot tub motor repair advice. Maybe local mechanic. I have a flowmaster xp2 motor that usually works, unless it stops in a certain position.
If it stops just right, it will not start again, just sit and hum. I can manually spin the motor just a bit, then it will start working again. Until it stops in just that one position again, I can start and stop it with the controls.
Is that something fixable, or should I just get a new one?
Thanks!

I had a motor go out in my hot tub when I lived in Portland. Found it was considerably cheaper to just buy a new motor and install it myself than have someone look at it. I got my new motor here: https://www.spadepot.com/
Cleaning the air lines of a Jacuzzi tub Bought our house a few months ago and I have not been able to fix the jacuzzi in our master bath.
Whenever we run the jets we get flakes of what I assume is mold that shoot out of the lines.
So far I have tried using dishwasher detergent to clean it out a number of times but it still is evacuating particulates.
Does anyone have any recommendations on other ways to fix this? We would really like to be able to use the jets but it is really gross.
I can attach pictures of the gunk if it helps

Go to a hot tub store. They sell stuff to pour in. You run the tub with that in and it will clean the line. Or order it from spadepot.com
We are looking to possibly get a hot tub this spring but have no clue where to go and which one to get. We would be building it into a deck. Looking for any feedback/ recommendations. Thank you in advance!
I am looking for someone that does heavy duty sewing on Vinyl or Leather. We need a few area re-sewn on our hot tub cover.

We found that it was cheaper to just get a new cover Tracy The big thing with hot tub covers is how waterproof the foam in between still is. Once they get water logged...it is over and they are heavy. By the time you repair the top and get the foam re-wrapped you are at the cost of a new one. We just replaced ours last year through this place. It was the most inexpensive place I found. Another thing we learned the hard way is that you are better off having a cover opener because it puts way less wear on the cover and it is SOOOO much easier to open. http://www.spadepot.com/
Anyone know a good reasonable hot tub electrician?
