  Please help if anyone has any recommendations. Our computer crashed and after taking it to geek squad at best buy and after $200 for diagnosis and repair and $80 for a new hard drive and another $85 for data recovery they now tell us they cannot retrieve the data and need another $200-$300 to send it out to another company to see if they can extract it. This is my worst fear. All my sons pictures and work documents are lost right now. I had a seagate backup drive and that must have also failed me. HELP!

  My boyfriend is the owner of Drive Service Company in Costa Mesa (but we live in HB 😀). He does data recovery and often gets the stuff others can't. He's pretty amazing. Call the shop at 714-549-3475. They open at 8:30. No charge if he can't get the data.
