  My wife Emily and I are in Jamestown for a long weekend with our 11 year old black lab Lexi and our baby is not feeling well. We're debating going home unless anyone has a strong recommendation for a local vet to see her. I've found Russell County Animal Hospital and Cumberland Animal Hospital on line; does anyone have experience with either? We would appreciate any feedback our boating friends offer. Thank You!

  Has anyone ever had to take their dog to a vet while in Somerset? Any recommendations? My little one seems to have an eye infection and I need to take him somewhere tomorrow. Preferably Somerset area.

  Somerset Animal Hospital, 606-679-1266. We had a Golden with burnt pads on her paws from hot docks. We were very impressed with them. Hope this helps. If memory serves, on the North side near Lake Cumberland Marine.
