Good mover recommendations?? Does anyone have affordable recommendations for movers? I would say I have a studio’s worth of stuff. Maybe a smallish truck? 2 or 3 movers at most? I’m looking to move from upper Manhattan to Williamsburg. If you suggest looking on Task rabbit, can you name someone specific?
Is it worth it rent plastics crates to pack all my stuff? Apparently there are companies who will ship plastic containers to you then pick those up after you move.
Thanks!!

I used [Intense Movers](http://www.intensemovers.com/) for my last two moves and they were great
Fellow Brooklyners: Can you recommend a moving company? Careful, trustworthy, affordable movers? Please advise.

I used http://www.intensemovers.com/ and actually had a good experience. They were honest, upfront and careful. And they were even cool about the multiple Sandy-caused moving delays.
Man With a Van/Mover recommendations? Hey guys I'm making a small move (about 2 miles) in bushwick. Wondering if anyone had any movers they trusted or could recommend. I dont have much, 4 or 5 boxes, desk, tv, queen mattress. I would just rent a truck or something but i don't have a drivers license.

Recommendation for movers? I just got a quote from Movers not Shakers and think it may be off, but who am I to know? We're moving in 3 weeks from what technically may be a 2br (with a ton of books in it) in Astoria to Brooklyn (Prospect Heights). It seems like $900 is a little steep, when I don't think the move should really take *all* day like the quote said.
Just wondering if anyone has any other recommendations for good movers.

I second the recco for [Intense Movers.](http://intensemovers.com/) My move within Brooklyn was ~$200 and was done in ~2 hours. (Granted, I wasn't moving much stuff and it was only a 15 min. drive.) A buddy of mine used them to go from Brooklyn to the LES, I think his was a whole-day deal and was still cheap. They did a great job.
