  We need an AMAZING roofer in Ottawa (for repairs). Does anybody know anyone? Our roof was done 4 years ago. The company was a bit fly-by-night (didn't know it at the time; they had done a good job for a friend) and I don't want them back in here (I tried calling years ago anyway and they don't answer phone or email messages - they are still in business- recently saw their truck). We are trying to sell our house but the roof is a big hang up - it leaks. No one can say for sure why. We need someone who is awesome at diagnosing roof problems and has an eye for repairs - not just installation. If you know an amazing roof doctor, please refer them here. Thank you so much!!!

  http://www.jorgensenroofing.com/ I got the recommendation from a co-worker and was very happy with them. I was getting quotes on re-shingling, but knew there was an underlying issue with my roof. They were the only ones (of four qoutes) who pointed out the issues, warned me that extra work might be required, and ball parked what the extra cost might be. I picked them even though they were the most expensive quote (I wanted it fixed right) and wasn't disappointed.

  Recommendations for roof repair guy? I just discovered a small leak in my roof. I never dealt with roofers and I don't know what to look for. Does anyone here have any roofer recommendations? I went up in the attic and I can see a sliver of sunlight shine through, and right now, water is dripping :( Also, can they work in the rain or will I have to wait?

  I had a good experience with http://www.jorgensenroofing.com/ (who had been recommended for me from a co-worker who had also used them and liked them) though they the most expensive quote I'd gotten. I know several people who used Stewart Roofing and recommended them as well. Saunderson (sp?) was also recommended to me by a couple people. They would likely do a temporary fix in the rain and then schedule a proper fix later. (I'm guessing, but I know they don't do regular re-shingling in the rain).
