Looking for a cheap electronics store in Vancouver (downtown) I have a friend who is here from Europe and needs some electrical plug converters. I know Futureshop will have them but they usually charge a lot more than a small electronics/computer store would. I can't remember if there are any around the downtown area. I am guessing something on Granville would? Any help is appreciated.

Hands down the best shop is [The Hackery](http://thehackery.ca/). They aren't downtown, but the prices and service are both excellent. I went in to buy an A to B USB cable, which cost around $29.99 at Future Shop, Apple, Best Buy, etc. The price at The Hackery was $2. When I gave the the guy a $20, he just gave me the cable and said that we could settle next time. I've since been back several times and have never been disappointed.
Electronics repair shop? I have a small problem that somebody that's good with a soldering iron can probably fix. Does anybody know of a good electronics repair shop in Vancouver or Burnaby?
