Advice for a beginner I have dreams of becoming a wedding photographer one day, but I have no experience in professional photography. I’m in the wedding industry in a different area, but dream of switching to photography. Where should I begin? Can anyone recommend cameras, equipment and classes/tutorials for an extreme beginner?

I would getting some Creative Live videos. I like Joe Buissink, Susan Stripling. Susan Stripling now runs the wedding school. Also watch Cliff Mautner on kelbyone and Jerry Ghionis. Jerry Ghionis has his own learning site called http://icesociety.com/ BH YouTube channel has a lot of great wedding videos.
So I was thinking of doing a short photography coarse.. Does anyone know any good courses online or classes?

Check Ice Society. It's more wedding and portrait but the techniques you learn will apply elsewhere and it is run by the most awarded photographer in the world. There are some free videos/highlights to give you an idea http://icesociety.com
