Q: Where should I order prints from? I want to order prints of some of my color negative scans but I don’t know a good (and affordable place) recommendations?
CrazyAnchovy replied:
If you plan on keeping shooting, you will probably try different places. mpix.comnationsphotolab.com Search for someone who will do a chromagenic print. See who can give you a hahnemuhle rag print FIND A LOCAL PRINTER! You will settle on a printer you like.
Do you guys print photos? I'm just a hobbyist photographer, but my passion has been to capture moments and views which I think are worth remembering. I've recently wanted to start printing them to physically be able to look back on them.
I'm only looking to print smaller photos, likely 4x6. What is the best place to order prints online nowadays? I'm looking for a service that is reputable for solid print quality. I'm in the US.
Any recommendations? I'm all ears!
Edit: Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I will try out a few of the online shops soon :)

I've been using [Nations Photo Lab](http://www.nationsphotolab.com/). They have discounts on printing throughout the year. I've also ordered some prints on standout mounting for gifts.

I use Costco for cheaper prints, but I prefer Nations Photo Lab when there are sales or coupon codes. I recently started printing my photos of my wife and me. I will eventually start printing photos of us with our friends.
Are there any photographers out there who can assist with designing and producing a wedding photo album, if they did not take the photos themselves? I am also interested in finding someone to photo shop edit some of our images. Our photographer was a family friend and does not work with Photoshop or do albums. I would like a matted album, not just a photo book, and I cannot find a way to do this myself (the album companies seem to require a professional photographer). Eager for any recommendations! Thanks in advance!

Not sure if it's what youre looking for, but i used nations photo lab for album and its beautiful. It definitely took a lot of time to put together, but it was worth it. Their website is http://www.nationsphotolab.com/

Hi Ladies, after your wedding is said and done, where have you purchased a beautiful photo book? I am looking for something higher quality than Shutterfly/target etc.
Thanks!!
I want to have some of my pictures printed onto a canvas and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a good company to use? I was thinking shutterfly? Thanks so much!
A retail store wants to sell my fine art prints of paintings. The best price I find locally is $13 for 11"x14". I can't make a profit with that because the store wants 50%. What online sources have you found for prints? (I already sell prints through Imagekind and Redbubble and the prices are too high for retail). Also, is there anyone who prints art on pillows in Columbus?
Chad C. replied:
Nationsphotolab.com and mpix.com are nowhere near that expensive. I've used both for years and have been happy with their quality. The benefit is you can also drop ship, so you never have to touch the photo (unless you plan on signing it).
I had some family portraits taken and am now looking for a place to do the prints. I'm open to online printers, but something a step up from Snapfish. Nice quality, frame-worthy 8x10 to hang on the wall. Any recommendations?

We've had good luck with Nations Photo Lab, recommended by a photographer friend. http://www.nationsphotolab.com/
Can anyone recommend the best website to make a photobook from? So far I've looked into Shutterfly but just want to get some reviews from folks who may have used another website that they recommend ? I tried to search on here for old threads but only found photo booth guest book posts.
Where is the best place to get large photos printed? I usually go to Walgreens or Alphagraphics but I figured I'd check prices since I want a pretty huge picture
Another community newbie question: I want to print off this picture sized 18x24 (approx) inches for as cheap as possible, but still quality enough that we can continue our anniversary tradition (this will be our third year married on June 28). We want to be able to hold this picture of us, printed - and take a picture of ourselves holding it (for next year). Any suggestions of great print shops who could help me in this area? Thanks in advance!
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had a good place online to get pictures printed. I will be doing a meet/greet at the Naturally Fit Games in Austin on June 25th and wanted to print this image out to sign. I know places in town do it but wasn't sure if there was a better place online to get pictures printed. I'm thinking 8x10 or a little smaller.

I use Nations almost exclusively. Quality work, fast turnaround. http://www.nationsphotolab.com/
Ok guys where is the best place to get pictures printed. I don't care if it's online or in a store. I don't want my pictures to be fuzzy the bigger we want them. Please an thank you

NAtions photo lab does a great job at a good price. I had 16 x20" prints that were beautiful
Does anyone know where I can get prints done???
Kind of like various wall art sizes for an affordable price (within a weekish)?

Locally Murphy's has great next day service. For more sizes and materials check out NationsPhotoLab.com I've used them and they are great quality and fast shipping. You can also check out prodpi.com
Hello beach peeps! I have a roll of 35mm film that I would like to have developed, lol. Hubby took it to what was then Happy Harry's a couple of years ago and the person behind the counter looked at him like he had three heads, so I still have the roll sitting on my dresser. I have no idea how old it is, but hope it has pictures of my dearly departed Doberman Pinscher on it. Any ideas? Walmart? I'm not sure where there is a camera shop around here. Thanks!
Megan W. replied:
Anywhere you go will have to mail it out. Personally if they were important to me I would go with someone other than Walgreens or Walmart. Try nationsphotolab.com they are out of Baltimore. I trust them with my clients photos
Hey all, I have an "Ask". I'm looking to print off 7 different head shots and about 25 each, so 175 total. Any recommendations or personal preferences and bulk buys? Thanks in advance for now everyone!

I use nationsphotolab.com - I usually wait for an 8 x10 sale. There are less expensive places, but I've been printing photography & modeling photos there for years and love their quality & customer service.
I would like to have a nice print of this made for my office wall. I was wondering who you all would recommend in the Portland area. Thanks in advance.
Pat K. replied:
To be honest, for prints good enough to sell, submit to a gallery or hang on my own wall, I haven't found any of the big-box stores as good as the national labs whose only business is printing photos. There are several; my personal favorite is http://www.nationsphotolab.com - in part because they provide a printer profile I can import directly into Lightroom, which results in outstanding color matching. The standard pricing for large prints isn't cheap, but they have constant sales and specials, and despite being on the East Coast, I usually receive my prints within 2-3 days of ordering. Whatever you do, avoid Walmart, especially if you shoot film. Their prints are only so-so, and they DON'T RETURN YOUR FILM.
Anyone recommend a place to order photo prints?!?! To have shipped, not Walgreens, etc.
Amie H. replied:
If you want good quality paper and the colors to remain true, don't use shutterfly. Don't get me wrong, I use them for snapshots and silly things, but if it's something you want to last and look wonderful go with www.nationsphotolab.com or mpix.
Wondering what company any of you would refer for quality albums for an affordable rate. I had a company that I used which I like but I want to find one that I LOVE. Please and thanks.
Does anyone in the Grand Rapids area know where to get quality senior pics printed. Ron took them and the company we used for Dillon doesn't do it anymore. We just need good printing services.
Sarai M. replied:
I do all my client prints through www.nationsphotolab.com
Who has recommendations for printing photo on metal or wood? I need a good balance between price and quality.
Hannah S. replied:
I got metal ones on groupon through printerpix.com. They are too expensive otherwise. The prints looked good but had several dents in them. I would have been super bummed if they had been gifts for someone else. www.nationsphotolab.com probably has better quality and decent prices. Never used them but I'll try them next time.
Hey guys, I will be getting a poster printed for a friends birthday coming up. Any idea where I can get a decent sized one for about 15 bucks? Like full quality, not chopped quality haha
Photographer friends - can you recommend a service to use in order to print out a few of my nicer shots (beyond a 4X6)? And any local mom and pop spots that I should check out? Or mail order sources?
Shelley C. replied:
Sorry, I should have said nationsphotolab.com. :)
Shelley C. replied:
I'm not a photographer, but Nations Photo Lab was recently recommended to me.
