  ADVICE NEEDED for Special Mom #psnm00744 My son is 4 and weighs 40lbs. He has Trisomy 5 (if anyone can tell me anything about that lets talk!- very rare!) basically his development is much like CP. He walks but has a very unsteady gait (doesn't jump or stand on one leg), completely nonverbal, extremely low muscle tone and gets worn out pretty quickly. My question is this: we are going to Disney next week and I wanted any suggestions on a stroller. There's no way he can walk the park and I'll die carrying him! Most of the ones we've had he's too heavy for or too tall for. Just seeing if anyone could recommend a good brand. Also if you know any suggestions on how the park works with a "handicap" that's not wheelchair bound? Thanks!

  I love the special tomato jogger and its around 500$ on especialneeds.com my son uses a wheelchair but for easy days I pack the jogging stroller because its so much easier to tote around. I recommend soending the little bit extra and getting the medica l necessity bag for underneath the stroller. I didnt buy it at first and if I had too much of my sons stuff hanging on the back of his stoller he would tip over. Now I have the medical necessity bag and I can even out the weight. The stroller goes up to 115 lbs. My son is 40 lbs too and he still has a ton of room height and weight wise to grow in his stroller

Do any of you have recommendations on which type of swing to get? She has good trunk control and only has paralysis from the knees down. She is very strong so I need a good harness/seat belt system to hold her in place. She does have a VP shunt. Anyone have any advice on product and place to purchase from? Thanks....
