I was experiencing trouble getting a good plumber at a reasonable price to install a dielectric union in our main water line. A huge issue many older buildings have is the piping is typically made of conductive material like lead, copper or is galvanized. Ours are copper pipes and because (I believe) other neighbors' houses aren't grounded properly, every time a neighbor uses an appliance, it leaks into the ground and comes in and charges at super high levels on the copper piping. This causes chronic health issues and is dangerous to be around. A dielectric union is to cut out a portion of the main waterline underground and install that portion with a non-conductive piece so then the house is sealed from current coming in on the pipes. I have spent a ton of money on making the house safer to live in as I'm sensitive to EMFs (radiation) and I was in a dire situation. Pat lowered the price for me and was extremely responsive and reliable. That's difficult to find in contractors in general! He did an amazing job and there's a noticeable difference in how I feel in the house. Pat Stanco is the real thing and knows what he's doing.
