Hi, neighbors. :) I'm very involved in the Socastee HS performing arts department. Each year, we put on a full-production musical with professional sets, incredible costuming and choreography, and very, very talented kids. Some of you may have seen The Little Mermaid, or Hairspray, in the last couple of years, for an example. The kids put in countless hours of rehearsal. As it gets closer to the show, the kids have lunch and dinner *at rehearsal*- that's how much work goes into it. We look to the community to help us feed this cast and crew. There are roughly 30 meals that need to be covered for about 100 kids. We have some local restaurants that always help, and some parents will buy a meal for the cast, but we are running several meals short. If you know of any restaurants that would be interested in donating a meal for our kids, please send them to me. :) Or, if you have a business, and would like to sponsor a pizza dinner, that works, too! We have some deals worked out with local pizza places. We put your logo in the playbill, and it's a great way to help the kids and get your name out there on those hungry minds! Thanks, community! Come and see Big Fish at Socastee High School, March 9-12! :)
